

The contact tank consists of a container and a drive with an impeller. A cylindrical container with a bottom and a lid is made of carbon or stainless steel. On the cover of the container there is a frame, a drive rack with an impeller, an electric motor with a wedge-shaped transmission and a guard.
Branch pipes with flanges are welded on the lid and side wall of the tank at the place of operation for:
- power supply;
- unloading;
- overflow control;
- steam supply;
- condensate outlet;
- for level control;
- for temperature control;
- for pressure control;
- for inspection of the tank and impeller;
The presence of branch pipes depends on the purpose of the contact tub and is specified when ordering. The processing of the pulp with reagents occurs as a result of intensive mixing and circulation of the pulp in the tank, which are provided by a rotating impeller. Tank volume (m3) 3,15; 9; 10; 12; 20; 25; 50 and others as agreed with the customer.
