The «Mining Equipment Plant» was established in the 1990s and is a branch of the UPE «Niva». UPE «Niva» constantly expanded the scope of its production activities in terms of repair, modernization and manufacture of mining equipment.

Production of powered roof support sections;
Production of cutting elements for shearers;
Production of hydraulic cylinders for special and general industrial purposes;
Repair of mine electrical equipment and its parts;
Service warranty and post-warranty maintenance, repair of mining equipment in mine conditions.

The main products of the branch — powered roof support sections, hydraulic cylinders for special and general industrial purposes — are certified for compliance with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union TR TS 010/2011 «On the safety of machinery and equipment» and TR TS 012/2011 «On the safety of equipment for operation in explosive environments».
