Explosion-proof thyristor-contactor starter TKPV is designed for remote controlled start and stop, as well as overload protection of three-phase asynchronous electric motors with a squirrel-cage rotor, protection against short-circuit currents in outgoing power circuits fed from a three-phase AC network with isolated transformer neutral in mines, dangerous gas (methane) and dust.
